Welcome to the Rainbow Children's Trust.

The Trust was originally established in 1998 to support paediatric services for Christchurch Hospital in the South Island of New Zealand. We recognised that creating a child-friendly environment with parents and close family nearby helps in the treatment and recovery of young patients.

The Trust is currently in recess, awaiting confirmation of a project to commence the development of new hospital facilities for Children and Paediatric services based at Christchurch Hospital. At the Rainbow Children's Trust we believe strongly all children should have access to the best possible healthcare. Our children deserve nothing less.
